Ceremonial Meeting of Professors and students at the Holy Monastery of Vellastranslated

A Solemn Liturgy was held today in the Catholic Church of the Holy Monastery of Vella, where the School of Apprenticeship for Clerical Candidates is also located. The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Head of the School, Fr. Thomas Andreou, co-officiating with the Professors of the School, Fr. Athanasios Nikos, Fr. Konstantinos Papakostas and Fr. Apostolos Monachos.

With particular emotion, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Headmaster referred to the presence of the two second-year students, whom, as he characteristically pointed out, "we met as laymen and today we are proud as clergy".

Particularly touching is the fact that, of the 39 students of the first two years of the School's operation, 18 have already been ordained as clergy, a fact that is a fruit and a blessing of the School's progress and its ministry in the Church.
