The "Eumaios" digital platform for removing barriers to access to culturetranslated

The digital platform "Eumaios", which was developed in the context of the project "Recording accessibility conditions of cultural spaces and development of a digital information portal for visitors with reduced mobility (EFMAIOS)", was presented by the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities (ESAmeA), in the presence of the Minister of Culture Linas Mendoni, the Secretary General of Culture Olympia Vikatos and officials of the Ministry of Culture. This partnership is part of a wider strategy to remove barriers to access to culture, with the common goal of ensuring that all citizens, regardless of disability or mobility limitations, can equally enjoy the country's cultural heritage and cultural services.

The project was implemented within the framework of the Ministry of Culture's Programmatic Agreement with ESAmeA, with funding from the Recovery and Resilience Fund, being part of the actions of the Ministry of Culture for the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. I'm glad to see that they're finally recording accessibility at museums and historical sites across the country. My aunt uses a wheelchair and it is always difficult for us to know in advance if she will be able to enter without problems. Is the platform already active or do we have to wait?

It's good that they are finally doing this. The Eumaios platform will help a lot of people, like Sofia's aunt who is in a wheelchair. But I wonder if they have already listed the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, which my daughter and I go to often.
