Screenwriter Giorgos Tsiakkas mentioned the experience of filming the new television series "Saint Joseph the Quietist" in the locations of Mount Athos, where the Saint lived and practiced, speaking at noon on Wednesday (21/10) on the "News" program of the Pemptousia FM radio and the journalist Maria Giachnaki. Giorgos Tsiakkas, who also wrote the script of the popular series "Agios Paisios - From the Farasa to Heaven", underlined the responsibility involved in the television performance of the life of a Saint.

"Where the Saints stepped. And I say it with awe. They are places that have passed," said the screenwriter, describing the difficulty of filming in hermitages, caves and inaccessible areas of Mount Athos.

As he explained, the effort of the crew to approach the places of the Saint's practice made him reflect on the privations and struggles of the monks.
