A piece of the Holy Zone will be received by the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior of Thessalonikitranslated

The Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior of Thessaloniki (Delphin and Miaouli) will have the special blessing of welcoming a piece of the Holy Belt of Panagia, which will be worn by the Holy Monastery of Panagia of the Belt of Samos on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 6:00 in the afternoon. The Sacred Girdle, one of the most precious sacred relics associated with the pansept face of our Virgin Mary, will remain in the Holy Church until Wednesday, November 11, 2026, so that the faithful have the opportunity to worship it, pray and ask for the maternal protection and embassies of the Most Holy Theotokos.

Throughout the stay of the Holy Zone, holy services will be held daily, according to the program to be announced.

The Holy Church will remain open daily from 6:00 in the morning until 00:30 after midnight, to serve the pilgrims.

The devout Christians of Thessaloniki and the wider region are invited to participate in the reception and come to receive the blessing of our Virgin Mary.
