The parish of Agia Marina Ilioupoli, Attica did not forget the earthquake-stricken Venezuelatranslated

The sending of food to earthquake-stricken Venezuela was set as the opening event for its celebration by the homonymous church community of Agia Marinis, in Ilioupoli Attica. On the eve of the feast, July 15, 2026, humanitarian aid for Venezuela was delivered to the volunteer academy HelpHellas, which cooperates with the Holy Metropolis of Mexico and the Exarchate of Central America and the Caribbean Islands. Our community's contribution to this first mission consists of €2,560.00 worth of food, which was purchased from a local food business and 2,206 pieces of clothing, footwear, mops and bed linen, which were made available by the parish clothing store "Panagia i Akathi", (Digeni 12), and packed in 30 packages by the parish volunteers. The aid was delivered to the assembly point with a vehicle provided by the "Secrets of Patience" company (Digeni 9).
In the afternoon, in the church (Digeni 20), the holy Eucharist was celebrated by the Bishop of Rogon Filotheos, for the health of the parishioners, except for those who are mentally or physically ill.
