The youth fellowships started in I.M. Lefkados: The children said their "YES" to Christ!translated

Saying their "YES!" in Christ, our children and young people responded to the call of our local Church and participated in the start of the Children and Youth Fellowships on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Our Reverend Metropolitan Fr. Theofilos blessed on Sunday morning the opening of the "catechetical schools", as they were formerly known, in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Evangelistria Lefkada, with the High Priestly Divine Liturgy he celebrated there, and also in the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos Lefkada, where he celebrated the Consecration. In both cases, he addressed loving fatherly thoughts to children and parents and enjoyed the association with the children, their spontaneity and liveliness, while they in turn enjoyed the communication with our common spiritual father and Bishop.

By organizing these important opportunities for dialogue and communication with children and teenagers (from preschool to high school), as well as for their families, our Church remains the unshakable bridge to Christ. Offering the Grace of His Mysteries and the evangelical proposal of life, as they experienced it and are still experiencing it to this day...
