Visit of students of Arcadian origin from Canada to the Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouriatranslated

It was with great pleasure that the Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria Mr. Epifanios welcomed to the Episcopate a group of eleven students of Arcadian origin from Canada, who are visiting Arcadia these days as part of the first Summer School organized by the Pan-Arcadian Federation of Canada in collaboration with the University of Peloponnese. The participants, second and third generation Arcades of the community, come from Levidi, Nestani, Doliana and Davies. Through this educational program they have the opportunity to get to know the place of origin of their ancestors, the history, culture, traditions and spiritual heritage of Arcadia, while strengthening their ties with Greece and the Orthodox Church.

The mission was accompanied by the President of the Pan-Arkadian Federation of Canada, Ms. Nota Iliopoulou, the Vice-Chancellor of Administrative Affairs, International Relations and Outreach of the University of Peloponnese, Professor Ms. Euthalia Hatzigianni, as well as the people in charge of the educational program.
