Feast of the Ascension - Saints Constantine and Helentranslated

The great Despotic Feast of the Ascension of the Savior and the Memorial of the Equal Apostles Kings Saints Constantine and Helen (May 21, 2026) were solemnly celebrated in our Holy Metropolis.

Our Most Reverend Metropolitan presided over the solemn Vespers at the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen of the Aviation Dispersal Readiness Center (KEDA of Rhodes), and the Most Reverend Bishop of Olympus, Mr. Kyrillos, at the parish church of the Ascension of the city of Rhodes.

On the main day of the Feast, our Most Reverend Metropolitan presided over the Divine Liturgy, co-celebrant of Saint Olympos the Philistine in the celebratory Holy Church of the city.

Πέρσι πήγα κι εγώ στον Εσπερινό στο ΚΕΔΑ και θυμάμαι πόσο γεμάτος ήταν ο ναός. Φέτος η Λειτουργία με τον Κύριλλο στην Ανάληψη πρέπει να ήταν όμορφη, λυπάμαι που δεν τα κατάφερα. Ελπίζω του χρόνου να συνδυάσω και τα δύο.

This year again at KEDΑ for vespers? It's good that the Metropolitan was there, because last year the church was bursting at the seams. It's a pity that we couldn't be there at the Liturgy in Analipsi, maybe next year we will be able to.

Yes, Ketevan, Esperinos was held in Kedah this year too, and a lot of people gathered. I was there last year as well, and this year I went to the liturgy in Analifs — it was very peaceful and beautiful. If you want to attend both next year, maybe we can go together?
