The People of Mykonos Honored Saint Kyriakitranslated

July 8, 2026 · 1 min read

In the newly renovated Church of Saint Kyriaki in the village of Mykonos, Most Reverend Bishop Dorotheos II celebrated the Divine Liturgy last morning, accompanied by the Protopresbyter of the church, Emmanuel Galanakis, and the deacons, as numerous faithful Mykonians and visitors gathered. To them, Most Reverend Bishop Dorotheos II prayed that every day of their lives might be a “Kyriaki”—a day of joy and hope. Finally, he expressed gratitude and praised Protopresbyter Emmanuel Galanakis for his diligent care in preserving the church and his pastoral concern, as well as the choir, church council members, altar servers, and all collaborators for their meticulous preparation and organization of the patronal feast.
