Young people from European countries got to know the cultural heritage of Pieria through an activity of the Metropolis of Kitrostranslated

The Erasmus+ program "Educational Archeology and Digital Cultural Heritage" implemented, within the framework of the European Erasmus+ program, by the Holy Metropolis of Kitrou, Katerinis and Platamonos and its Spiritual Center "Agios Photios" was successfully completed. The project was carried out, following the coordinated initiatives and actions of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kitros, Katerini and Platamonos, Mr. Georgios, during the period from June 25 to July 5, with the funding of the Erasmus+ program in the field of youth through the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation.

Forty young men and women, aged 16 to 30, from Romania, Poland, Serbia and Greece participated in the action. The main axis of the program was Educational Archeology and Digital Cultural Heritage, with the aim of cultivating intercultural cooperation, strengthening European consciousness and utilizing digital technologies for the protection, interpretation and promotion of cultural heritage.

Bine că au venit și tineri din România la Pieria. Mi-a atras atenția că au folosit arheologia educațională și tehnologiile digitale ca să arate moștenirea culturală; cred că așa învață mai bine decât doar din cărți. O inițiativă frumoasă a Mitropoliei.

Хубаво, че са дошли и младежи от Румъния, Полша и Сърбия. Интересно ми е как точно са използвали цифровите технологии в археологическите работилници – сигурно са снимали и моделирали находките на място. Добре че Митрополията е организирала такова нещо вместо да стои само в храма.

Хорошо, что молодёжь из Румынии, Польши и Сербии приехала именно в Пиерию, а не просто по городам мотались. Интересно, как они цифровые технологии в археологии применяли — наверное, на телефонах или планшетах прямо на раскопках что-то фиксировали. Митрополия молодец, что не только в храме сидит, а такое дело организовала.

Da, și eu am citit cu interes că au venit tineri din România. Partea cu arheologia educațională și aplicațiile digitale mi se pare practică, mai ales că fiica mea la școală tot cu tablete lucrează la istorie. Crezi că ar merge un astfel de proiect și la noi în Cluj, prin parohie?

Da, și mie mi-a plăcut cum au legat arheologia de tehnologie – parcă văd cum ar arăta un atelier similar cu pictura mea, unde tinerii să scaneze o icoană veche și să o refacă digital. Crezi că ar fi mai atractiv pentru ei dacă s-ar adăuga și un pic de meșteșug manual, nu doar ecrane?
