Nafpaktos Ierotheos about Fr. Ioannis Romanidis: "Who has not been influenced by him?" – I.M.M. Vatopediou will convene a Conference on his projecttranslated

The blessed leading Dogmatic Theologian Fr. Ioannis Romanidis is referred to in an article by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Nafpaktos and Agios Vlasios, Mr. Ierotheos, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his ordination. His Eminence describes the cleric and theologian as he got to know him through testimonies, as well as his writing work. "His life was a constant struggle for the restoration and living of the Orthodox tradition as Orthodox theology and hesychasm. He found many resistances and reactions, because from the 18th century and from there the secularization in theology and in life entered the Orthodox Church", he says characteristically.
The Metropolitan of Nafpaktos also expresses his thanks to the Most Reverend Professor of Theology of the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi on Mount Athos Archim. Ephraim, who announced recently, at the Monastic Synod held at the Holy Monastery of Faneromeni in Lefkada, that his Holy Monastery, with the "Maximos Graikos" Foundation, will convene a Theological Conference to study the well-studied work of Fr. Ioannis Romanidis.
