The Sanctification of the 5th Camp period in I.M. Corfutranslated

On the evening of Sunday, August 16, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, went to the camps of the Holy Metropolis in Kassiopi, North Corfu, where he performed the Consecration for the start of the 5th and last camp season of this year, which hosts 3rd grade boys Gymnasium and Lyceum. His Holiness had the opportunity to talk with the youth, as well as with the camp staff, giving his fatherly wishes for a blessed and fruitful camp season.

Leaders of the 5th camp period are the Most Reverend Protopresbyter Georgios Bogdanos, Director of the Youth Office of the Holy Metropolis and the elder Mrs. Tina Vlachou, while the deputy leaders are Mr. Spyridon Vassiliadis and Mr. Anestis Rizos, flanked by numerous executives and volunteers, who with love and a willingness to give serve the children throughout the period.
