Priestly Assembly and visits of Metropolitan Florinis Irenaios in Amyntaiotranslated

On Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Holy Church of the Ascension of the Lord of the Workers' Housing of Amyntaio, a Priestly Assembly of the Priests of the Holy Metropolis of Florina, Prespa and Eordaia was held, under the patronage of the Metropolitan of Florina, Mr. Irenaios. The program in the region was concluded with the visit of Pastor Mr. Irenaios to the Holy Monastery of Saints Panteleimon and Evvoulis Amyntaios, where he met with the Professor, Gerontissa Eufremia. During the meeting, issues related to the function, the ministry and the presence of the Holy Monastery in the local Church were discussed.

Yes, Valentina, Father Eleutherius really kept the parishes afloat for many years, I remember how he even went to the mountains in bad weather. And it’s interesting about the monastery - there are only a few sisters there, probably, and they talked about a vineyard and a vegetable garden, they couldn’t live without it. It was a useful visit.
