The Venerable Censer from the Holy Monastery of Vatopedi for the First Time in Thessaloniki in Novembertranslated

With the blessing of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, for the first time, the Venerable Censer will be transported to Thessaloniki, where it will remain for blessing and consecration of the faithful from November 11 to November 16, 2026, in the Holy Church of Saint Spyridon Triandaphyllos.
The Venerable Censer In the Monastery of Vatopedi, there is a Serbian censer stand with a patriarchal cross in the center. The cross has a scroll inscribed with the Venerable Censer along its entire length and width. Around the cross, there are censer stands with icons of saints of our Church. This censer stand was presumably donated to the Monastery by wealthy Serbs.
The date of construction of the censer stand is attributed to researchers from the 16th-17th centuries, though it is very likely of the same era as the Venerable Cross. No inscription or date is preserved.
