That's wonderful news for the parish. I'll be praying the relic of St. Stephen is a big comfort to everyone there on the 12th. Our own St. Nicholas in the city could use an anniversary celebration like that one day!

It is interesting that the relics of St. Stephen will be brought precisely for the 100th anniversary. In Kyiv, too, once upon a time, the relics of the throne were brought to the throne, people stood in line for a long time. Perhaps one of our parishioners in New York will be able to go to that liturgy on July 12.

I am glad that Elpidophoros will come for the 100 years. The relic of Saint Stephen will be the most important that Sunday, the church will certainly be full. I hope I can get there from Patras, because the music and dance night on Saturday sounds like a good idea.

Good program for the 100 years. I will also go from Heraklion if I can find a cheap ticket, because I have never worshiped the relic of Agios Stefanos. The music and dance night on Saturday sounds good, maybe some of our parish will get together.

You'd better go, Michael. The relic of Agios Stefanos is indeed rare to find here in Crete. If you find a cheap ticket, tell us how much it was, so we can search from Heraklion as well.

You're right Niko, you don't see the remains of the First Martyr very often. Anyway, I'm not going to come down from Thessaloniki, but if anyone from your area is going, let us know afterwards how the service was.

Well said Niki, the relic of Saint Stephen rarely comes out. I, from Patras, am not going up, but my daughter, who lives in Athens, promised to go to the event on Saturday and tell me about the music and dances afterwards. Will you tell us too if you change your mind?

Niki, you are right, the relic of Saint Stephen is not easily found. As I live near Athens, I plan to at least go to the Sunday Liturgy, I will also see what the atmosphere is like. If you change your mind and get off, let us know!
