Prokopis Pavlopoulos for the 100 years of the Academy of Athenstranslated

On the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Academy of Athens, its historical path and its modern role in the defense of Education, the Greek Language, Freedom and Democracy was mentioned in an interview with the TV station TRT of Thessaly and with the journalist Mr. Sotiris Polyzos.

Particular emphasis was placed on the mission of the Academy of Athens from 1926 to the present day, on the timeless value of ancient Greek education and language, as well as on the need to protect representative democracy and fundamental human rights. At the same time, the modern challenges for the quality of democracy were highlighted, focusing on the principle of separation of powers, the rule of law and ensuring the personal and functional independence of judicial officials.
