The ASTRA Museum promotes Horezu ceramics at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paristranslated

The ASTRA Museum in Sibiu is promoting Horezu ceramics at the International Exhibition of Cultural Heritage, held until Sunday, November 1, in Paris, at the Carrousel du Louvre.
The event brings together more than 300 exhibitors dedicated to the preservation and transmission of heritage: art craftsmen, restorers, companies specialized in built heritage, suppliers, architects, museums, schools and associations.
According to a statement published on the Facebook page of the ASTRA Museum, the participation of the Sibiu institution continues the "Sun on a plate" exhibition circuit, developed in the open-air Museum in Dumbrava Sibiu through the "Masters of clay" project.
"The bright motifs of the Horezu ceramics create the subtle links between the local landscape and the evolution of the household, between the support of daily existence, the practical wisdom, the beliefs and superstitions of the country man", said the deputy general director of the ASTRA Museum, Ovidiu Baron.
