New Edition of the Akathist to Saint Olga of Alaska Published by the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America

GRASS LAKE, MI — The Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America is pleased to announce the publication of the second edition of the bilingual booklet Akathist to Saint Olga of Alaska and a Brief Life / Acatistul Sfintei Olga din Alaska și Viața pe Scurt , released with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel.

This new edition presents the Akathist and a brief life of Saint Olga of Alaska in both English and Romanian, making the text accessible to a wider number of faithful throughout the Episcopate. The publication is based on the original text prepared by His Eminence Archbishop Alexei of Sitka and Alaska and published by the Orthodox Diocese. The Romanian translation, together with the adaptation into modern English, was prepared by the ROEA Department of Publications.

The second edition reflects the growing devotion to Saint Olga of Alaska, whose holy life of humility, compassion, and faithful service continues to inspire Orthodox Christians across North America. Known especially for her loving care for families, mothers, and those who suffer, Saint Olga has become a cherished intercessor for countless faithful.
