The day of remembrance of the fathers of six Ecumenical Councils was celebrated in the village of Sosvatranslated

On July 26, in the village of Sosva, the parish in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker was visited by the dean of the Novolyalinsky deanery, Priest Nikolai Melekhin. The service took place on the day of remembrance of the fathers of the six Ecumenical Councils - this gave the holiday a special solemnity.
The central event of the day was the Divine Liturgy, led by Father Nikolai. Concelebrating with him was the rector of the parish, Priest Sergius Mikhalev.
In his sermon, the dean reminded parishioners of the significance of the conciliar experience of the Church. The priest, in simple but profound words, told how the wisdom of the holy fathers helps modern man to find the right spiritual guidelines. Many believers noted that the shepherd’s words became support and good parting words for them.
After the service, Priest Nikolai inspected the territory of the temple. He assessed the improvement work already carried out and, together with active parishioners, discussed plans for the future. The community’s efforts to create a cozy and bright space did not go unnoticed.
The day ended with a warm communal meal. In an informal setting, parishioners were able to ask questions, share their concerns and hear a pastoral word. Such conversations especially strengthen the sense of church unity...
