German schoolchildren visited a Russian church in Strasbourg and learned about the features of the Orthodox faithtranslated

On October 17, 2026, a group of students from the Heinrich Böll gymnasium from the German city of Troisdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia) visited the Church of All Saints of the Russian Orthodox Church in the French city of Strasbourg.
The group included 17 schoolchildren, as well as three teachers, the church website reports.

Guests from Germany were given a tour of the church and told about the features of Orthodox worship and church traditions.
The students also learned how Orthodox Christianity differs from Catholicism and Protestantism.
“The students showed interest in the Orthodox faith and church life, asked questions and actively participated in the discussion,” the message noted.
After the excursion, a traditional pilgrim’s lunch was organized for the schoolchildren and their teachers in the church, and then a group photo was taken against the backdrop of the church as a souvenir.
The Russian parish of All Saints emphasized that they are glad to have the opportunity to “receive school groups and introduce guests from France, Germany and other countries to the richness of the Orthodox tradition.”
