The rector of the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Tsar Constantine and Queen Helena in the agricultural town of Zhodishki visited the local high schooltranslated

Priest Mikhail Verokha held a conversation with schoolchildren on the topic “The influence of bad habits on a person’s spiritual state.”

Father Mikhail reminded the children about the dangers of alcoholism and drug addiction and the problems that arise as a result of the use of alcohol and drugs. He also noted the increase in sad statistics on the consumption of alcoholic beverages and energy drinks among Belarusians.

The priest illustrated with examples from life that life is beautiful, multifaceted, interesting, and exciting only when everyone’s main goal is a guide to a healthy lifestyle. Priest Michael emphasized that the use of alcohol and drugs leads to disruption of a person’s mental activity, depriving him of the ability to think and make the right decisions in difficult life situations. And besides, it alienates you from God.
