To the Head of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Republic of Dagestantranslated

g Lieutenant General S.Yu. POPOV
Dear Sergey Yurievich!
Please accept my most sincere congratulations and prayerful wishes on your 60th birthday.
By heading the Border Directorate of the FSB of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan, you are making a significant contribution to ensuring the peace and security of our region and the entire Russian state. I express my special gratitude to you for preserving the good traditions of cooperation between border guards serving on the Dagestan section of the state border with the Makhachkala diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. Visible evidence of this was the recent consecration of a military church in honor of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky in the village of Akhty, the southernmost in our country.
On this significant day, dear Sergei Yuryevich, I wish you good health and God’s help in the difficult work of defending the Fatherland. May the All-Merciful Lord send His inexhaustible mercies to you and your loved ones, and may He keep you in full strength for many good years to come!
