Priests of the diocese conduct classes on the history of Orthodoxy in Cossack classestranslated

Orthodoxy is the spiritual basis and foundation of Cossack culture, shaping the worldview, moral values and self-awareness of the Cossacks. The Orthodox faith becomes the core that holds together the history, culture and everyday practices of the Cossacks.
In Kamchatka, the study of Orthodoxy and history is carried out in all Cossack classes. Weekly discussions are held at the Agricultural College in the village of Sosnovka. “The next conversation with a Cossack group at the Kamchatka Agricultural College began with a riddle: we had to guess what united the drawings on the board,” said the teacher, priest Roman Nikitin. — The answer to the riddle was hidden in the title of the conversation topic: “How did Christianity change this world?”
I offered the children 16 examples of facts from the surrounding life that appeared as a result of preaching the Gospel.
