Traditionally, the beginning of autumn is marked by a liturgy to start the academic year. With the blessing of Metropolitan Ekaterinburg and Verhoyansk Eugeny, the liturgy will take place at 12:30 on October 4 in the Garden suburb of the Monastery of the Holy Royal Martyrs. Children bearing the duties of altar servers, readers, ringers, and singers will participate. They will pray together with the priests – directors and spiritual fathers of the Sunday schools.

After the liturgy, children will refresh themselves with tea and baked goods, while for adults there will be a monastery refectory serving meals.

Participants can take part in a quest that will be held across the grounds of the monastery, completing tasks related to familiarizing themselves with the holy relics of the churches within the monastery and introducing them to the theme of the year "The Christian Doctrine of Man," as well as going on a guided tour of the monastery by the Pilgrimage Center guides.

Following the events, buses will depart at 14:00 and 14:30 to take pilgrims to the tram stop "Seven Keys."

It should be noted that on the eve of this, young altar servers, readers, and ringers will gather at the Bogoroditse-Vladimirovskii Parish in Ekaterinburg for a traditional autumn camp.
