Metropolitan Teofan at the rededication of a church in Piatra-Neamț: Place where the Christian is called to be borntranslated

On Sunday, Metropolitan Teofan of Moldova and Bucovina re-consecrated the "Saint John the Baptist" Church in the Mărăței neighborhood of the Piatra-Neamț municipality. On this occasion, His Eminence explained the importance of the place of worship as "a place where the Christian is called to be born, through the Gospel, in Jesus Christ".
The service was officiated by His Holiness Father Teofan, together with Bishop Veniamin of South Bessarabia and Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Varlaam Ploieșteanul.
The Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina explained that the construction and renewal of places of worship find their meaning in the work of the Church as the Mystical Body of Christ, becoming the space where man is called to enter into a living relationship with God and to be formed through the Gospel.
