Metropolita Antonie nazval pracovníky sociální misie Diakonie rukama, skrze které Kristus pomáhápřeloženo

Jeho Eminence Otec Antonie, metropolita Besarábie a exarcha Plaiurilor, ve středu navštívil sociální misi Diakonie, sociálně filantropickou pobočku Metropole Besarábie, která letos slaví 25 let své činnosti.

"Vy jste ruce, skrze které Kristus pomáhá tomu, kdo trpí, a práce, kterou děláte, má velkou hodnotu a neocenitelnou cenu," řekl dělníkům hierarcha.

S otcem metropolitem se setkal Igor Belei, výkonný ředitel organizace a poradce Kišiněvské arcidiecéze, který mu představil vývoj instituce, hlavní projekty a způsob, jakým tým reaguje na potřeby lidí v obtížných situacích.

It's good to see Diaconia hitting 25 years. The part where the Metropolitan told the workers they are "the hands through which Christ helps those who suffer" really stuck with me. Sounds like the kind of steady, quiet work that actually changes lives for people in tough spots.

Igor Belei did a good job showing the Metropolitan around. Twenty-five years is a long time of steady work, and it's nice to hear the focus is still on sitting down with the people at the Sfânta Ana center instead of just the programs on paper.
