It is good that the metropolitan also went to the prison and held mass. 25 years the Vladimir church has been operating, I didn't know that. Power to the inmates and staff there.

It is good that the metropolitan went to the prison and celebrated a liturgy. I did not know that the church of the Vladimir Icon has been there for 25 years. May God give strength to the prisoners and the employees, especially the veterans.

It’s good that Metropolitan Bartholomew not only served the liturgy, but also met with employees and veterans. The church has been operating in the colony for 25 years - this is serious, many people there have probably come several times over the years. May God give strength to everyone who serves and sits there.

It's good that the metropolitan also met with the employees and veterans, not just the inmates. I didn't know that Vladimirskoi church is already 25 years old in colony 18. May God give patience to all who work there day by day.

I agree, 25 years is not a joke, the church really helps people not to break down. I’ve heard that in such places, after serving, many veterans themselves begin to volunteer. Have you been to such colonies or do you only follow the news?

Yes, you say it well, Antonis, working in prison gives courage to many. I was impressed that the church of Vladimir there has been there for 25 years, I didn't know that either. Let the prisoners have patience, God is with them.

Good to see the metropolitan didn't just serve the Liturgy but also met with the staff and veterans. Twenty-five years of that Vladimir church operating inside colony No. 18 is impressive; sounds like it really gives people something steady to hold onto over time. Have any of you visited a prison parish like that?

Yeah, 25 years is a long run for a church inside colony No. 18. Good that the metropolitan took time to meet the staff and veterans too, not just serve the Liturgy. Makes you wonder how many of those guys have come back year after year for a bit of steadiness.
