Yes, the iconostasis there is really one of the most beautiful in Orenburg. I don't remember exactly about people, Tsvetanka, but your grandmother probably still tells about the service. Have you been to that church since then?
Yes, the acoustics there really do make the prokeimenon ring out nicely. I stayed for the cross procession — it was a crisp morning and the choir kept perfect pitch even walking. Have you been back to that parish since you sang with them?
The choir really does hold it together out there, doesn’t it? I haven’t been back since that one Liturgy we sang together, but I still remember how cold the steps felt on the way out. Did you catch the new iconostasis they put up last summer?
