Metropolitan Alexy will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in the ancient church in the village of Terenkultranslated

On July 23, Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles in the village of Terenkul, Krasnoarmeysky district. The temple was built in 1864. For more than seventy years, a rural House of Culture was located within its walls, and today the ancient shrine has been returned to the Church and is gradually being revived. Since 2019, the parish of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior has been spiritually nourishing the local community and helping to restore the church. The Divine Liturgy will take place on Thursday, July 23, starting at 8.30. A bus will be organized for parishioners of the Church of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior to the place of worship.
