85 years ago, the iron roller of war rolled across Belarusian soil. He spared neither women, nor children, nor the elderly. The Nazi genocide knew no mercy. Only blood, ashes and screams... But even in the smoke of the fires, the Belarusians retained humanity and faith in Victory.
Early in the morning of June 22 in the town. A requiem meeting dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people took place in the Rossony Memorial Park.
The event was attended by: the district leadership, representatives of district organizations, the rector of the parish of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Mr. Rossony Archpriest Alexander Gordevich, residents of the urban village.
During the event, Father Alexander served a funeral litany for the fallen soldiers who laid down their lives for the faith, the Fatherland and the people and who died sufferingly during the Great Patriotic War.
Today we bow our heads to the entire generation, which, at the cost of incredible efforts, pain and tears, gave us a clear sky above our heads.
