Metropolita Daniel z Akkry sa v piatok 17. júla 2026 na Veľvyslanectve Egypta v Akkre stretol s pánom Waelom Fathym, veľvyslancom Egyptskej arabskej republiky v Ghanskej republike.

Počas srdečného stretnutia odovzdal veľvyslancovi pozdrav a želanie všetkého najlepšieho od pápeža a patriarchu Teodora II. Alexandrie a celej Afriky. Vyjadril tiež hlbokú vďaku Alexandrijského patriarchátu Jeho Excelencii prezidentovi Egyptskej arabskej republiky Abdelovi Fattahovi El-Sisimu za jeho trvalú podporu a ochranu Alexandrijského apoštolského trónu a jeho historického poslania na celom africkom kontinente.

Osobitný dôraz sa kládol na silné historické putá priateľstva a spolupráce medzi Egyptom a Gréckom, ako aj na dôležitú úlohu oboch krajín pri podpore medzináboženského dialógu, kultúry a mierového spolunažívania národov.
