The Cernica Monastery will host a symposium dedicated to the Burning Bush and Father Andrei Scrimatranslated

The Cernica Monastery will host on August 18 and 19 a symposium dedicated to the Burning Rug and Father Andrei Scrima.

The event entitled Timpul Rugului Aprins will include a memorial service for Archimandrite Andrei Scrima and a pilgrimage to the Cernica Monastery cemetery, to the places where the ancestors of the monastic settlement are buried.

Among the guests of the symposium is the Vicar Bishop Timotei Prahoveanul of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, Fr. Prof. Constantin Coman, Prof. Carmen Ciornea, lecturer Ionuț Chircalan, lecturer Dumitru Carabaș, Daniel Mazilu and Valentin Cioveie.

Saints Dumitru Stăniloae and Sofian from Antim, archim, will be evoked. Benedict Ghiuș, Arsenie Papacioc and Andrei Scrima, hieromonk Daniil Sandu Tudor and Alexandru Mironescu.

The burning stake The "Burning Rosary of the Mother of God" movement was founded in 1946 at the Antim Monastery in the Capital, where the weekly meetings also took place.
