Brâncoveanu Monastery - Sâmbăta de Sus will host the Congress of Theological Faculties in Romaniatranslated

Brâncoveanu Monastery - Sâmbăta de Sus in Brașov County will host, between November 1-3, the Congress of Theological Faculties of the Romanian Patriarchate.

Deans, coordinating vice-deans, department directors and heads of doctoral schools within theological education institutions are expected at the event.

During the program, the participants will address topics that concern the current challenges of university theological education, the development of cooperation between specialized faculties, as well as aspects that require increased attention.

The meeting will also include the presentation of the IMAGO project, with the theme "How do we communicate images? The dynamics of figures, metaphors and symbols in Christian discourse". The initiative is run by "Lucian Blaga" University in Sibiu, with funding from the Swiss Science Fund and UEFISCDI.

The works will be followed on the 4th of November by the meeting of the College of Deans of specialized educational institutions in the Romanian Patriarchate.
