UIGA cadets took the military oath and received the priest’s blessingtranslated

On July 25, in the military unit of the aviation regiment, a solemn taking of the military oath by cadets of the military training center at the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation named after Chief Marshal of Aviation B.P. took place. Bugaeva. Cadets are trained in the reserve sergeant training program.

From the Simbirsk diocese, the rector of the church in the name of St. Sergius of Radonezh at the UIGA, Abbot Seraphim (Lyakhov), took part in the ceremony.

The priest wished the cadets to honorably bear the title of Russian military personnel, to be patriots of their Motherland and worthy heirs of their great-grandfathers - front-line soldiers, participants in the Great Patriotic War. Then Father Seraphim blessed the cadets and sprinkled them with holy water.

At the end of the ceremony, the head of the training unit, deputy head of the military training center, reserve lieutenant colonel Eduard Reva addressed those who took the oath.
