A cleric from the diocese participated in the celebration of the Day of the Kizlyar Districttranslated

On October 31, in the village of Averyanovka in the Kizlyar District, celebrations were held to mark the 97th anniversary of the formation of the Kizlyar District.

With the blessing of Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent, the celebration of the district's day was attended by Hieromonk Siluan (Isaev-Baidau), assistant to the dean of the Kizlyar ecclesiastical district.

Also present at the celebrations were Mahach Omarov, State Secretary of the Republic of Dagestan, Sharip Sharipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, and Nuridin Kakhirov, an eighth-term member of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan.
