A diocesan cleric visited Goncharskaya Secondary Schooltranslated

The rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the agricultural town of Gonchary, Priest Valery Troyan, visited the Gonchary secondary school, where an event was held for students in grades 6–8 entitled “Family values, the role of mother and father.”
Adolescence is a time when issues of love, respect and support in the family come to the fore. The schoolchildren, together with the priest, discussed what makes a family strong, how important it is to hear each other, and what a huge role mom and dad play in shaping the personality of each child.
Father Valery also told the children that honoring parents means loving them, being respectful to them, not insulting them with words or actions, being obedient, helping them in their work, taking care of them when they are in need, and especially during their illness and old age. And, of course, always pray to God for them.
