On October 21, 2026, the head of the diocesan department for interaction with the armed forces, Priest Vasily Gribenchenko, met with servicemen of the Russian Guard, military unit 3754.  The priest held a conversation on the topic “The Church and the Northern Military District”, citing as an example the life of the righteous warrior Fyodor Ushakov, who combined military valor with deep Christian faith and concern for sailors.
