Norilsk Cathedral initiated a project for communication between people of different agestranslated

A meeting of the reading club "Lamp", as well as the children's lounge "Joy" and the family creative workshop "Iskra" were held at the Spiritual and Educational Center of the Norilsk Diocese on October 4. All these activities are united by the educational program “Together in the North”. It aims to create an environment for communication and meetings between Orthodox residents of Norilsk, based on common interests.
Guests of the reading club, together with the leader of the department, Deacon Nikolai Shchelokov, discussed the work “If all the cats in the world disappeared” - a philosophical novel by the Japanese writer and producer Genki Kawamura. The work tells stories about the value of time, memory, human affections and life circumstances. The meeting participants shared their thoughts and answers to the questions raised in the book. The conversation took place in the format of a dialogue.
For younger groups, in the children's living room "Joy" they watched cartoons and read children's stories with curators, and in the family creative workshop "Iskra" parents and children prepared and decorated gingerbread cookies and gift sets, the diocese website reports.
