Priest Nikolai Busko held a class hour at school No. 2 in the city of Fanipoltranslated

As part of the cooperation program between the Belarusian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, spiritual and educational meetings of the clergy of the Dzerzhinsky deanery with students of general secondary education institutions continue.
The clergyman of the parish of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord in the city of Fanipol, Dzerzhinsky district, Priest Nikolai Busko, visited the State Educational Institution “Secondary School No. 2 of Fanipol.” The priest conducted a thematic class hour for 8th grade students dedicated to the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord.
During the conversation, Father Nikolai told schoolchildren about the history of the acquisition of the shrine by Queen Helen, Equal to the Apostles, and also revealed the deep spiritual meaning of the Cross as the main symbol of the Christian faith.
Also during the visit, the clergyman warmly congratulated the school director and teaching staff on the past professional holiday - Teacher’s Day. Priest Nikolai thanked the teachers for their noble, sacrificial work in educating the younger generation, wished them good health, peace of mind, patience and God's help in their teaching ministry.
