On October 23, 2026, on the occasion of the Week of Parental Love, a children’s master class “My family is my beginning” was held at the Slobodsky House of Culture.

The organizer of the event was the rector of the parish of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in the agricultural town of Sloboda, Myadel district, Priest Alexey Kuzminykh.

Together with Father Alexey, the children discussed Christian family values ​​and specific situations when a good deed is evidence of love. During the meeting, the importance of love, care and mutual respect in the family was discussed.

After the conversation, a practical part was organized, during which the boys learned the intricacies of carpentry, and the girls learned the culinary arts.
