On November 4, 2026, at the Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Novobelitsky District of Gomel, a conversation “And the face of the saint warms our souls...” took place. On the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, I. V. Ignatovich, a Sunday school teacher at the parish of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Gomel, met with older people.

Participants got acquainted with the history of the discovery of the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary, its further fate and the tradition of veneration.
In conclusion, the teacher shared stories about modern cases of help and healing through prayers to the Mother of God.
