“Keepers of the Faith”: “The dear saint to whom we turn today in difficult moments of life”translated

We present to readers a new publication from the series “Keepers of the Faith. Middle Urals".
The heroes of today's publication are parishioners of the church in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Kurganovo, spouses Fyodor Pavlovich and Natalia Mikhailovna Snyatinovsky.

In the Church of St. Nicholas in the village of Kurganovo there is a small icon of the Hieromartyr Konstantin Snyatinovsky, canonized in the Cathedral of Rostov-Yaroslavl Saints. The icon was presented by the parishioners of the church, the spouses Fyodor Pavlovich and Natalia Mikhailovna Snyatinovsky, and it depicts Fyodor Pavlovich’s great-uncle, who suffered martyrdom during the years of persecution of the Russian Orthodox Church.
We bring to your attention the story of Fyodor Pavlovich about the fate of his grandfather, who suffered for Christ even to death, whose Christian feat, generations later, spiritually united numerous descendants.
