The church in Rakov was visited by wards of Ivenetsk and Logoisk social boarding housestranslated

On October 21, 2026, an excursion and confession for young people with disabilities took place in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the agricultural town of Rakov, Volozhin district.

The pilgrims came from the Ivenets children's social boarding house "Kindness of Hearts" and the Logoisk social boarding house "Reliable Bereg".

The group was accompanied by the rector of the Church of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk in the urban village of Ivenets, Volozhin district, Archpriest Viktor Peregudov, who has been providing pastoral care to people with special needs for several years.

After the excursion, guests were invited to a spiritual conversation over a cup of tea.

The events were attended by clergy of the Rakovsky parish, Hieromonk Maxim (Kudin) and Hierodeacon Georgy (Fusa), as well as sister of mercy Veronika Divakova.
