At the Spiritual and Educational Center, as part of the “Academy of Goodness,” a meeting was held with kindergarten students. The meeting was chaired by the head of the diocesan department for culture, Priest Roman Nikitin.

“How to tell a preschool child the story of Noah’s Ark and the Flood without traumatizing them with the theme of the destruction of the world? - says Father Roman Nikitin. — It is worth emphasizing the rescue of animals and people, but so that the story is not reduced to a simple transportation of animals in the style of “Grandfather Mazai and the Hares.” Here we are still talking about obedience to God. The glove bear, who, according to legend, showed disobedience and ate a mountain of candy, helped me start a conversation with the children.

When I managed to involve the children in a discussion of the topic of obedience, I offered to listen and watch (first graphically on the board, then in the form of a cartoon on the screen) an instructive story about Noah.

At the end of the meeting, we remembered what the story of the Flood teaches:

1. Obedience and trust in parents (do what is right, even if others laugh). Noah was the only one who listened to God, while all the other people around him did evil things and laughed at him.
