Church at the Dobrești Monastery, the foundation of Patriarch Daniel: IPS Ioan highlighted the role of the family in the birth of the saintstranslated

Dobrești Monastery, the foundation of the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel, celebrated its main patron on Wednesday, dedicated to Saint Pious Parascheva. Metropolitan Ioan of Banat highlighted in his sermon the role of the family in the spiritual formation of children.

The Holy Liturgy was attended by believers from Dobrești, from neighboring towns, from Timișoara and from other areas of Banat. His Eminence presented the life of Saint Pious Parascheva as a model of faith, humility and charity.

"The family is the place blessed by God where children are born, but also where saints are born. This is how important it is to fulfill the commandment given by God."

"If you browse through the lives of the Romanian saints and Romanian saints canonized in these two years, you will see that it is not impossible, it is not difficult to become pleasing to God", the metropolitan emphasized.
