Gomel schoolchildren became winners of the “Connoisseurs of Orthodoxy” tournamenttranslated

On November 4, 2026, an international tournament on intellectual games “Experts of Orthodoxy,” organized by the Association of Schools of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, took place in Borisov.

Six teams from different cities of Belarus took part in the competition. Gomel was represented by the Rodnik team from secondary school No. 21. The team was accompanied by the secretary of the Gomel diocese, Archpriest Georgy Alampiev.

Bishop Ambrose of Borisov and Maryinogorsk addressed the participants with an archpastoral word. He noted that the tournament provides an opportunity not only to test knowledge, but also promotes spiritual development, communication and strengthening friendships between participants.
