“Where there is love, there is God”: how Berezinsky families celebrated the day of Saints Peter and Fevroniatranslated

On this summer day, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker became a meeting place not just for parishioners, but for real keepers of family traditions. On July 8, Orthodox believers in Berezino gathered to honor the memory of the saints Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia - those whose lives became a model of marital fidelity and mutual devotion.

The solemn Divine Liturgy ended with a special prayer service, in which the believers asked the patron saints to strengthen their families and grant peace and harmony in their homes. Archpriest Ilya Goncharuk, rector of the church, especially warmly congratulated those families who came to the service together - parents with children, grandparents. “This is exactly how the whole family should come to God,” the priest emphasized. And in the vestibule of the church an unusual exhibition took place: the walls were decorated with photographs of parish families. Smiles of children, hugs of spouses, multi-generational portraits - each frame told its own story of love, sanctified by faith.

Александр ОрловХорошо, что батюшка Илья прямо сказал — всей семьёй нужно приходить. У нас в Нью-Йорке тоже стараемся с женой и дочкой вместе на службу, но не всегда получается. Выставка фотографий — отличная идея, сразу видно, как вера семьи держит.

ლევან ჯავახიშვილიმადლობა, რომ მთელ ოჯახებთან ერთად მოდიან. ჩვენთანაც თბილისში ზოგჯერ მხოლოდ მე და დედა ვართ ლიტურგიაზე, მაგრამ როცა ბავშვები მოდიან, სულ სხვანაირადაა. გამოფენა კარგი იდეაა, ფოტოებზე ხომ ყველაფერი ჩანს.

Bei uns in Frankfurt schaffen wir das auch nur selten, aber wenn alle da sind, fühlt sich der Gottesdienst gleich ganz anders an. Die Foto-Ausstellung im Vorraum klingt nach einer richtig guten Idee, da sieht man gleich, wie der Glaube die Familien zusammenhält.

Julia WagnerJa, das mit der ganzen Familie zusammen hat Vater Ilya wirklich gut gesagt. Bei uns in Berlin klappt das auch nur an Feiertagen richtig, aber dann merkt man sofort, wie die Kinder anders mitbeten. Die Foto-Ausstellung würde ich mir auch gerne mal anschauen – habt ihr in Frankfurt so etwas schon probiert?

Павел СоколовСпасибо, Константин. У нас в Мюнхене тоже часто вижу, как целые семьи приходят — особенно приятно, когда дедушки с внуками стоят рядом. А пироги после службы — это святое дело, у моей покойной жены они всегда с капустой получались лучше всех. Вы в Ярославле в каком храме чаще бываете?
