The Old Book Festival brings a conference, a recital and book launches to Rădăuțitranslated

The Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuțil organizes a new edition of the Old Book Festival "Church prints - bridge between past, present and future", which will take place on Sunday, July 26. The event takes place from 17:00 at the Bogdana Monastery Museum in Rădăuți, with a conference, an early music recital and book launches.

This year's edition will include the conference "The written book - the spiritual remedy for cultural isolation", held by Rev. Constantin Necula.

The program will also include an early music recital by Archid. Ieremia Sarmas.

Church printing and book launches An exhibition of old books from the documentary fund of the parishes in the diocese will be organized during the festival.

The curator of the exhibition will be Fr. Gabriel Herea, inspector within the Monuments, Heritage and Church Architecture Sector of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţi.

Among the volumes that will be released, there is also "Decalogues for holidays, holy mysteries, hierarchies and icons that work miracles. Moral landmarks for the acquisition of holiness", signed by IPS Calinic, Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuţil.
