The Faculty of Theology from Craiova, present at the Congress of Orthodox Theological Faculties from Sâmbăta de Sustranslated

With the blessing of His Eminence Father Dr. Irineu, Archbishop of Craiova and Metropolitan of Oltenia, the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Craiova participates in the 11th edition of the Congress of Faculties and Departments of Orthodox Theology in the Romanian Patriarchate. The meeting takes place between November 1-4, 2026 at Brâncoveanu-Sâmbăta de Sus Monastery, in Brașov county.

Our faculty is represented by: Fr. university conf. Dr. Adrian Ivan, dean of the faculty; Fr. university conf. Dr. Constantin Băjău, director of the doctoral school; Fr. university conf. Dr. Mihai Constantinescu, department director; Fr. lect. university Dr. Dan Cătălin, the faculty chaplain.

This year's congress is organized by the "Saint Andrei Șaguna" Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the "Lucian Blaga" University in Sibiu.
