It's good the European Parliament is calling this out. Forcing kids to convert, especially after something as awful as the church attack in Peshawar, is just wrong. Praying those families get some real protection.

It's awful how they keep targeting these Christian families in Peshawar even after the church attack. The European Parliament calling it out is a start, but I wonder if it will actually pressure Pakistan to protect the kids. I'll add those families to my prayer list tonight.

It's heartbreaking they keep going after the Peshawar families like that. The church attack was only a few years ago, yet nothing seems to change. I'll remember those kids in my prayers too, especially when I'm watering the garden this evening.

Yeah, that Peshawar church bombing in 2013 still sticks with me too—those families have been through enough. I’ll keep the kids in my prayers as well, maybe light a candle for them at vespers this week.

The Peshawar attack was heartbreaking, no question. Those families have carried that grief for over a decade now. I’ll remember the children in my prayers too, especially at the Liturgy on Sunday.

The Peshawar attack was heartbreaking, no question. Those families have carried that grief for over a decade now. I’ll remember the children in my prayers too, especially at the Liturgy on Sunday. I agree, Andrew. The forced conversions in Pakistan hit even harder when you realise it’s often kids from poor Christian families who get no real protection. I’ll add them to my list for the proskomedia this weekend as well. Have you come across any updates from the local bishops there lately?
A
Alexander Wright
The Peshawar attack still haunts those families, you're right. On the forced conversions, it's the same pattern in places like Faisalabad where the bishops have been speaking up more lately about girls as young as 12 being taken. I'll remember both in the proskomedia too. Have you seen the latest report from the local Catholic bishop there?
T
Thomas Johnson
Yes, the bishop in Faisalabad has been quite vocal lately about those cases involving girls as young as 12. The Peshawar families still come up in our choir prayers too. Have you got a link to that latest report he put out?
E
Elizabeth Taylor
The Peshawar families really have carried that weight for years now. On the forced conversions, it’s the same story I keep hearing from the sewing circle ladies whose relatives send news from Lahore – the girls disappear and the courts just look the other way. Any particular bishop you’ve been following lately, Mark? I’ll remember those children at the proskomedia too.

Emily Clark
The bishop in Faisalabad really has been pushing hard on those abduction cases, especially the ones with the 12-year-olds. I remember the Peshawar families coming up in our choir prayers last month too. Do you have a link to that latest report of his?
